The Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition organizes and maintains a diverse grassroots organization dedicated to the improvement and preservation of the environment through education, grassroots organizing and coalition building, leadership development and media outreach. Our work encompasses much of West Virginia.
Promotes the production and use of renewable energy technologies to create new opportunities for citizen participation in energy production throughout Central Appalachia.
Windustry promotes progressive renewable energy solutions and empowers communities to develop and own wind energy as an environmentally sustainable asset. Through member supported outreach, education and advocacy we work to remove the barriers to broad community ownership of wind energy.
